| With Christmas now just over a month away, the big retailers are gearing up to try and get you to part with your cash. However concerns are already growing about sluggish sales (The Telegraph) that pre-Christmas sales are starting already - which is great news for Christmas shoppers who in Hot UK Offers opinion more and more are holding out to cash in on the bargains.
So where are the best bargains? Worth checking daily is Play.com who have a Deal of the Day. This may be a half price book, DVD, CD or game. Gadgets are also included and recently they slashed over £60 off the price of a Darth Vadar Star Wars Lightsaber! |
Buy 2 get the third free is an annual event at Boots. Get 3 for 2 on gift ideas plus toys and games. Boots are also running half price offers on selected fragrances and photo equipment. Look out for their offer of the week too (currently half price on selected shavers). Going back to the 3 for 2 offers for a moment, Marks and Spencer are running a similar promotion. There’s 3 for 2 offers on Christmas cards, wrapping paper, decorations, and gifts.
Electrical stores online sadly aren’t running sales at the moment, but Currys do have some web exclusives plus you can get a free £15 iTunes voucher with any Ipod Nano that you reserve and collect. Currys are also offering a free digital photo frame or printer with a Kodak Digital camera (£129). Comet however are running special promotions - for example they have a Wednesday Exclusive with 25% off a Dolce Gusto Coffee Machine - so well worth checking regularly for their latest offers.
Of course the best way to save money is use discount codes, either for money off or free delivery. Apply these at the checkout and save yourself a few pounds!
