Despite all the credit doom and gloom apparently we were all spending more money at the shops (The BBC). If that’s the case then there’s even more reason to spend as a number of top online retailers have unleased their summer sales - many offering up to 50% off! We decided to have a look round and see what’s on offer!

They claim that this is their biggest ever summer sale. There are loads of products under a tenner including Camisoles, Tshirts and even a Spot Mesh Frill Wrap Dress reduced from £35 to £10 - some might say no wonder, but we couldn’t possibly comment.

Play.com always seem to be having special offers and sales, but this is tagged their Monster Summer Sale and there’s up to 75% off CDs, DVDs, Gadgets, Clothing etc. The best bargains are usually in the clothing section and this time round you’ll find a lot of Tshirts for under £5. However take a look at the under £10 section and you’ll find designer brands like Animal and Bench at half price.
