The Christmas console wars are about to get underway with Currys now offering the Playstation 3 Console plus 2 games for just £349. The console is the 60GB version and the games are Resistance: Fall of Man and Formula 1.

So whilst Currys have a good offers, it’s one that is available at a number of different retailers. If you are considering buying a PS3 for Christmas (or just as a present for yourself) then do weigh up the need for a 40GB or 60GB hard drive plus whether you really want the free games. Amazon and Gamestation for example at least allow you to make a choice, whereas Comet and Currys limit you to certain titles.
